Built for the dogs a normal walk doesn't fix

We come to you

The gym parks at your curb anywhere in Amarillo. No crate-and-drive, no daycare drop-off, no waiting room full of strangers.

Dog-powered, never forced

No electricity and zero motors. The slatmill moves only when your dog moves, so every start, stop and stride is their choice.

Low impact by design

A purpose-built canine deck supports a natural gait without a motor dictating speed or forcing your dog to keep moving.

Panhandle-proof

Heated, ventilated and dry. Hundred-degree afternoons, high wind and ice stop being a reason to skip a workout.

A mobile dog gym is a van equipped with dog treadmills that travels to your home so your dog can exercise in a comfortable, climate-controlled space. DogGone's version features a trained handler who supervises every minute, self-paced non-electric slatmills where your dog sets the speed, and flexible scheduling so exercise happens whatever the Texas weather is doing.

Dogs learn the equipment quickly at their own pace. Self-paced slatmills mean your dog sets the speed — there are no motors, forced pacing, or timers. If they walk, it walks; if they stop, it stops. We use positive reinforcement to make it a fun, rewarding experience.

Yes. A trained handler is inside the van with your dog for the entire session. The slatmills are dog-specific and self-paced, meaning your dog sets the speed and can stop anytime. The van is climate-controlled and monitored, equipment is sanitized between visits, and we carry commercial insurance built specifically for this work.

Your dog moves at their own pace on a self-paced slatmill inside the van, with a handler's full attention the entire time. Some dogs trot hard the whole session. Some keep a steady walk. Either way, it happens in perfect air-conditioned comfort, on cushioned footing, every time.

The slatmills and the entire cabin are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected with veterinary-grade pet-safe cleaner between every single visit.

High-energy breeds that outpace their walks (retrievers, shepherds, doodles, pointers, huskies), dogs whose owners work long hours, reactive dogs who do better without a dog park or neighborhood distractions, and seniors who benefit from gentle, consistent movement on our slower treadmill protocol.

Even better. Couch potato dogs aren't lazy, they're under-stimulated. A dog that sleeps all day hasn't been given the opportunity to build endurance. The slatmill is self-paced, so a couch potato starts slow and builds from there. Consistent, gentle movement is just as valuable for the dog who won't get off the sofa as it is for the one who won't stop running circles around it.

Fitness is its own pillar. Walks provide outdoor exposure and exploration. Socialization provides mental stimulation. Training teaches commands and behavior. Dog fitness is structured endurance work: it builds cardiovascular capacity and supports nervous system regulation. Your dog benefits from all four. DogGone provides the one that's hardest to deliver consistently, especially in extreme heat.

Yes. Dog slatmills provide consistent, low-impact exercise that triggers endorphin release and supports nervous system regulation. The slatmill is self-paced, so your dog sets the speed and can stop anytime. Combined with a trained handler and controlled conditions, it's one of the safest and most effective ways to build dog fitness, especially in Amarillo where seasonal heat and weather limit outdoor activity.
